Ready to go on a Photo Assignment in Umbria with National Geographic’s Catherine Karnow?

We attended the National Geographic Lecture last week, and heard Photojournalist Catherine Karnow speak to a crowd of 2,500 about her inspiring experiences in Vietnam and were moved by the images she captured.  Afterwards, I visited with Catherine, and learned about her exciting Photography Workshop in Umbria, Italy, May 10-19, 2012.

There are only a few spots left, so click here and get registered today!  http://www.catherinekarnowphotoworkshop.com/

It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity full of inspiring experiences, from learning photography skills from a professional, diving into the Italian culture with local experts to hear about the culture, history, art of Umbria, and even attend festivals!

You will indulge in fine Italian wines and cuisine, and take time to breathe deeply in yoga classes.  Also, you’ll get to know Catherine and what it’s like to be a travel photographer on assignment.  She has handpicked the most fun experiences and people for you to meet and photograph.

It will be fun to get to know other participants who share similar interests and enjoy the workshop together in a personal way.  Reservations have been made at the charming La Locanda Della Quercia Calante, a converted farmhouse just twenty minutes outside Orvieto, in the hills of Umbria. The food at La Locanda is delicious and healthy, much of it from their own organic farm. You will also have a few meals in local restaurants. Guest rooms are simple and traditional, with terra cotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and individual porches.

Space is very limited, as it will be a small group!  Enjoy Umbria!
