Rug Shopping?  We recommend buying rugs at Black Tent Carpet and Kilims in Isfahan where the salesmen speak English and were very patient and helpful presenting rugs and finding a fair price.

IRAN ITINERARY

Day 1:  Tehran

When you arrive in Tehran at 15:10, you will spend some hours exploring Tehran city such as Tabiat bridge, Milad towers then Transfer you to the Hotel. Overnight Tehran.

Day 2:  Tehran

Have a full day tour of Tehran to visit National Museum, Jewelry museum, Golestan place and then you will spend some hours to explore Grand Bazaar of Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.

Day 3:  Tehran to Zanjan

Drive from Tehran to Qazvin. Tour of Qazvin to visit Chehelsotun palace, Jame mosque, Tomb of Hamdolah Mostofi. In the afternoon drive to Zanjan. City tour of Zanjan to visit Bazaar, Sultanieh. Overnight in Zanjan

Day 4:  Zanjan to Kandovan

Drive from Zanjan to Kandovan. Visit this rocky village of Tabriz province. It is one of the 3 rocky village of world. Overnight stay in Lale Rocky hotel. Overnight in Kandovan

Day 5:  Kandovan to Tabriz

Tour of Tabriz to visit Kabood or blue mosque, Tabriz Bazaar and Elgoli mansion and park, Mary church and the lovely Bazaar of Tabriz. overnight Tabriz.

Day 6:  Tabriz to Shiraz

You will be driven to the airport around 10 am to fly to Shiraz at 12:10 in the morning. you will visit Nasirolmolk Mosque and then Vakil complex that consist of Arg-e Karimkhan citadel, Vakil Bath traditional bath, Vakil Bazaar and Vakil mosque inside of the Bazaar. In the evening visit Hafez and Saadi tomb. Overnight Shiraz

Day 7:  Shiraz

In the morning have an excursion to Sepidan. You can walk through the jungles to see the springs, waterfalls, etc like Sheshpir Spring, Margon waterfall, go hiking, and climb the mountain through the Ronj Mountain. The local people are welcoming, and this is the time for you to communicate them in their houses that are filled with the smell of traditional foods and bread. Overnight Shiraz.

Day 8:  Shiraz – Persepolis – Abarkouh

In the morning, you Visit Persepolis, Necropolis, after a lunch in a traditional house and eating an Iranian food, you are going to see a lovely small city holding the oldest Cyprus in the world, Abarkouh. In Komme Bibi Seyed, you can eat the most delicious organic food ever whose cook is a local man who has learnt traditional Abarkouh foods from his grandmother.  After visiting the whole city, you will stay in Sarve Abarooh traditional house to sleep there.

Day 9:  Abarkouh – Yazd

In the morning drive to Yazd. Tour of Yazd to visit Amirchakhamq mosque, Fire temple, Tower of silence, Bazaar, Jame mosque, Dowlat Abad garden. At night visit Sand Bad camp dessert. Overnight Yazd

Day 10:  Yazd – Isfahan

In the morning drive to Isfahan via Meybod and Naein. Visit Narin Castle in Meybod, pigeon tower, Shah Abbasi Caravanserai. Then visit Jame mosque, cotton weaving workshop in Naein. Overnight Isfahan.

Day 11:  Isfahan

Tour of Isfahan to visit Naghsh-e Jahan square, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, A’li Qapu palace, Shah Mosque, Chehel Sotun, old Bazaar, Si-O-Seh pol, and Khaju Bridges. Overnight in Isfahan

Day 12:  Isfahan

Full day tour of Isfahan to visit Vank Cathedral in Jolfa area (Armenian area), there are lots of cafés that you can try Armenian coffee, rest for some hours and then continue sight –seeing. Visit the Grand Mosque of Isfahan, Jame mosque and. After that visit Music museum, Aquarium, Zoorkhane. Overnight Isfahan.

Day 13:  Isfahan – Kashan

In the morning drive from Isfahan to Kashan. In Route visit Abyaneh. Then visit Boroujerdi house and Fin Garden in Kashan. Overnight Kashan

Day 14:  Kashan – Isfahan

In the morning you will visit Tabatabaee house and Kashan Bazaar, then Transfer to the international airport of Isfahan to depart Iran at 20:40 PM

NOTE:  we decided to spend more time in Shiraz and didn’t go to Sepidan.
