Recently we stayed at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Dubai and we’re impressed with its stylish design, luxurious rooms, excellent service and some of the best views of the Burj Khalifa, tallest building in the world, from its top floor restaurant.
Sharing a spotlight on this beautiful hotel and some highlights during our 1-night stay.
As we arrived to the stylish Renaissance Hotel in downtown Dubai, there were fashionable guests gracing the lobby as luxury sports cars arrived at the hotel’s entrance. We knew we had arrived at one of Dubai’s hottest and popular hotels.
The Renaissance downtown location is steps from the Business Bay station and within walking distance of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Water Canal. The Dubai Mall and the lifestyle boutiques of the Dubai Design District are nearby as well.
Our check in went smoothly and only took a few minutes, and service was impeccable.
Within 10 minutes, we arrived to our room. The hotel attendant opened the door to our room and we were instantly taken by the floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the city. The interior bedroom, office area and bath has an elegant yet hip design.
Our accommodations were spacious with plush bedding, plenty of desk space and an enormous marble bathroom with a deep bathtub.

Pool, Gym & Spa:
Our time was cut short to fully experience this hotel, but we look forward to returning to experience the outdoor pool and modern gym, as well as the Six Senses Spa.
Bleu Blanc by David Myers
With its own private entrance, Bleu Blanc by reknowned celebrity chef David Myers aims to reach deep into your culinary senses and awaken your tastebuds with some French farmhouse flair.
Each course paired perfectly with a 5 flight wine selection aimed to enhance the dining experience. The open concept kitchen with a wood-fired grill is where the magic happens. Our starter charred octopus was the most tender I have ever eaten. The perfectly cooked entrée of sous vide black angus beef cheeks still has my mouth watering. The dessert of pit roasted pineapple, savarin and coconut ice cream finished what was one of the highlights of our time in Dubai. Server Noella and the local chef along with the manager were eager to please and stopped by often to check in on our culinary adventure. The new restaurant opened in November 2017 is filled with the “Who’s Who of Dubai” exquisitely dressed for a night on the town. Not to be missed!
